Coding agents
The chat endpoint is a drop-in backend for OpenAI-compatible coding agents: OpenCode, Aider, Cline, Roo Code and Continue are configured and tested, with tool calling, streamed tool_calls, the OpenAI error envelope and clamped max_tokens, so they behave as they do against OpenAI. Claude Code (Anthropic Messages API) and Codex CLI (Responses API) are not served yet — coming soon.
MCP server
For assistants that speak MCP (Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, OpenCode, Continue) the npm package @genmux/mcp exposes the image side of the api as tools — list_models, generate_image, get_generation, list_generations, account_balance, estimate_cost — plus this reference and the OpenAPI document as resources. Run it locally with npx (the key stays in your environment) or use the hosted endpoint https://mcp.genmux.tech/mcp with the key as a bearer token.
